This is to inform the general public that college of health technology calabar admission form 2018/2019 is out. Calabar State College of Health Technology invites applications for all its programmes for 2018/2019 academic session. The Admission Forms are on sale with effect from 19th March 2018.
List of programmes offer at Calabar State College of Health Technology Admission
Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW).
National Diploma (ND) in Community Health (CHEW)
Abridgement program for National Diploma in Community Health.
Requirements: WASCE or SSCE or GCE, five credits which must include Biology, English and Mathematics or JCHEW certificate with the requisite WASCE or SSCE or GCE.
Requirements: Four credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) at not more than two sittings. The four subjects must include mathematics, Physics, English language and any other subject.
Requirements: minimum of four (4) credits in WASC or SSCE at not more than two sitting in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
ND/HND Environmental Health Technology
Environmental Health Technician Programme
iii. Environmental Health Assistants Programme
Requirements: The minimum entry requirement into National Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health Programme is five (5) O’level credit passes in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examination Commission (NECO) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) or their equivalent to include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Health Science and Chemistry at not more than two (2) sittings. Duration for the programme is two years for ND and two (2) years for HND.
Health Information Management
The department offers three (3) programmes leading to the award of professional diploma (Diploma), National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma in health information management (HND)
Requirements: pplicants with a minimum of five (5) credits at not more than two sittings at SSCE, WASC or its equivalent may be considered. The subjects must include; Mathematics, English Language, Biology or Health Science, Physics or Chemistry and any other subject.
For ND in information management, pplicants MUST possess Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) scores with a minimum of 160 points in addition to the ordinary level requirements.
Medical Lab Technology
Public Health Nursing
Five (5) credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry or Biology and any two other subjects.
How to apply for Calabar State College Of Health Technology
To apply for admission into College of Health Technology Calabar, candidates should follow the following steps: 1. Walk into any branch of First Bank Nigeria and pay the sum of Eight Thousand Naira only (N8,000.00) for the application form through the PayDirect platform. Use the code CRSH for institution’s code.
2. Logon to chtcalabar.edu.ng or click this link Apply to complete the e-Application form. You can login using your receipt number and serial number on the print out issued at the bank.
Candidates are strongly adviced to view the Entry Requirements before proceeding to submit an application.
Note: College of Health Technology Calabar application process runs for about three months after which an entrance aptitude test is written sometime in June. Candidates applying for admission into NBTE courses are exempted from writing the entrance exam. Successful candidates at the entrance exam then proceed to the next stage which is a written interview and inspection of credentials. Candidates who pass the interview are then offered admission into the college. Also, candidates applying for admission into NBTE courses who meet the JAMB cut off mark are also offered admission. It is important to note that candidates coming into the college through JAMB can apply for admission up till September.
