Night Class – A Poem by Fortune Maine

Night Class Poem by Fortune Maine

night class by fortune maine

Night class,

How I got to know you,

I don’t know

But at a time, you became my friend

Some one I can confide in

My next of kin.

They say friendship, is about mutualism

So I plead, when I give you give me too

Don’t just be my friend for the name

Let your impact show in my grades.

I try so hard,

I leave my friends,

my room, my bed,

my phone, my chats,

sometimes my food just to be with you

I give you all of me.

Don’t let our friendship be in vain

Do not put me to shame

I don’t need fame,

Let me just achieve my aim

Oh night class, you have been chosen by Maine.
